World Cup Coach Fashion Championship II

Claudio Lippi (Italy): Eyesore Red look, yes, the night was cold...on the left: Funeral look for Pim Verbeek from Australia (and we understand why) on the right: the colorful pinstriped (black shoes would have been better) Vladimir Weiss (Slovakia) left down: Milord Classic style for Fabio Capello (UK) right down: No tie tonight for Bert van Marwiij (Holland)

Sacred Fashion

If you think that the Pope is not into fashion you are totally wrong. The big scandal on pedophilia is provoking not only a reflection on values and structure, but even the will to show a more powerful hence elegant Chief of the Catholic Church. The Pope is willing to hold on to his image and recently he is showing even more magnificence in his attires, more velvet, damask, brocades, silk and handmade shoes. Esquire magazine put him in the list of the "most elegant men" of the year, and apparently Ratzinger was very happy about it, as he is convinced that the "magic" of a dress can spread God's word in a more effective way. His shoes (like the popular "Prada red" ones) are made by an artisan called Adriano Stefanelli, who makes shoes for Bush and Berlusconi too. He has luxury dresses by Gattinoni, elegant reading glasses, the demi-lune Santos by Cartier and for the sun he uses mostly a pair of Serengeti. To dress a Pope is not easy, there are daily/nightly dresses, dresses for ceremonies, for special lunches, for a charity visit. In his wardrobe there are even some -long to the elbow- gloves, with precious embroidery, sandals and small umbrellas full of rich details. How much does it cost to dress a Pope? Of course it is a secret but we bet that each dress is not much less than ten thousand euros.

Bull's Revenge on matador

The news say: Julio Aparicio, one of Spain's most famous matadors, was gored in the throat today during a bullfight. The horrific injury has left him in critical condition .The horn went though the tongue and penetrated the roof of the mouth, fracturing the jawbone," one of the medics who worked on Aparicio told AFP news in Madrid. After two operations, it appears leading surgeon Maximo Garcia Pedros has saved Aparicio's life. The bull, however, was quickly killed by other matadors.
The incident took place during the Festival of Saint Isidro, considered to be the most important event in the bullfighting calendar, at the Plaza de Toros las Ventas bullring, which can seat up to 24,000 people.
Of course the Bull never wins anyway...we really wish that Corridas will be BANNED soon and forever

Who looks better? Maradona with a grey suite and a pearl colored tie ( he said that his daughters convinced him to go for an "elegant" look as his tastes are usually "different") or the German coach Low, looking casual-chic with a fitted blue sweater? Let's see who wins the "Coach Oscar of Fashion 2010"

GOAL ! The world cup madness is on

ITALY
The World Cup has started and we wish Italy will be able to retain its Champion title or anyway fight with power and reach the finals. If not, we wish all our best to the African teams, first of all South Africa.
SOUTH AFRICA
Africa needs attention and needs to flourish, despite of its very bad governors, the real reason behind all its problems. Of course we will be following the posh side of it all, like the wives, girlfriends and such of all the most popular players, even if BB Beautiful Beckam is going - most probably- to sit on the bench.

POSH AND COLLEGUES

Good teams this year are Spain (with Cristiano Ronaldo) , Brazil and Argentina, with a very active Messi in attack. But lets' keep an eye on South Korea, Camerun, Ivory Coast.
