                                        The Funeral Man

Internet dating can be fun but like Russian roulette, you never know if the bullet is going to hit you or somebody else. You read about weird things, you hear about even weirder things and sometimes you watch very bad things on the news.  Blind dates are exciting but dangerous.  And even if you have been writing and exchanging emails with somebody that doesn’t mean that you truly know him/her. Anyway this time we will talk about a light story, one which ends well, despite all the funerals. A friend, after meeting a man on a popular matching network, decided to meet him in person. He was nice, serious, very into his bhuddist credo. He invited her for a coffee and they chatted for a while, exchanging phone numbers. After a few days they met again. This time he invited her in his house where he chanted and prayed before attempting a closer encounter with her. What happened there is not clear but after that day he turned into the "Funeral Man". Every time she was suggesting a date he had a funeral instead.  The First one was his best friends dad’s funeral. The Second in the same week was his secretary’s. After a few days apparently even an old uncle died and he had to go to another State for the burial. At the beginning my friend felt very bad for him, poor guy, he knew his best friend’s dad since he was a boy, poor guy, his secretary was so young and she left two kids. At the Third Funeral she started to feel a bit weird about it, what if he had a curse on his head?  We, her friends, were doubtful about the curse ( well, you never know but most of the time reality is more trivial) while we started smelling lies. The sulphureous  odor of  betrayal.  At this point two weeks have passed and she starts to turn a bit nervous, so she asks him if he is still interested in seeing her or not. He says “of course!” , “let’s meet this Saturday”. It was Tuesday. Well, on Thursday something shocking happens, the wife of his business partner dies during the night, an aneurism killed her in a few hours despite everything done to save her. Saturday is her Funeral. The Fourth. In the movie there were Four Weddings and one Funeral. In this true story there are Four Funerals and not even one wedding. After hearing about this other tragedy my friend started screaming something unrepeatable, starting from his bloody cursed ancestors and ending with a new curse on his family for the next seven generation. He of course felt very offended and said that he never wanted to hear from her again. We never knew if Funeral man was telling the truth or not, but we tend to speculate that those were pretexts.  Men, if you want to dump somebody, do it with style and let the dead rest in peace.

An outstanding site for luxury travelers

"When traveling, nothing elevates the experience quite like a stay at a truly exceptional hotel. One where the setting inspires, where the design respects and enhances the surroundings, and where there is a genuine care for service, comfort, style, and attention to detail."
This is the aim at Kiwi collection, an outstanding travel agency that we would like to recommend  to the very picky traveler. Forbes wrote about it "Kiwi Collection is to luxury hotels what the Michelin Guide is to restaurants". It is a special booking agency where you can not go wrong if you want to experience the best. Kiwi is founded by people with a passion for travel and high standards for the places where they stay. Every hotel (including those belonging to well-known international brands) is carefully reviewed and visited before it can be part of the Kiwi Collection. The key  factor is that Hotels don't pay to be included and can be excluded at any time should they no longer meet the high standards of Kiwi. Plus, when you book with Kiwi you get extra special care, complimentary upgrades,VIP perks, welcome gifts. Kiwi doesn't charge booking fees and can provide you the best available rates. The list includes resorts, Spas, boutique hotels, luxury camps and classic inns.
After seeing the beautiful Hotels they enlist and hearing positive feedback from some users, we really thought that it is worth to take a look at their site before booking your next trip : http://www.kiwicollection.com

Who knew that popping zits can be deadly?

Almost everybody knows that squeezing pimples might lead to some complications. The bacteria goes farther and deeper into the skin causing more redness and swelling. It can give you a bad scar too, which is not what we want on our face, unless we are tough guys. Of course for most people it is better to squeeze and get rid of the ugly zit than going around with that disgusting yellow and red bump on our face. That is why it is always better to wear gloves or to use a cotton square before getting to this ignominious matter, or at least wash your hands thoroughly (and the area under your nails if you wear them long). But what what most people don't know is that popping zits might lead to DEATH! The danger is called "cavernous sinus thrombosis", which is basically a blood clot in the sinus cavity. How do you make that happen? Well, you might get that when you squeeze your acne in the "triangle of death", an area that goes from the bridge of your nose to the corner of the mouth to the width of the jaw. This is because the veins in this area drain in the sinus and any severe infection in this area could lead to the potentially fatal thrombosis. So, next time think twice before popping that nasty pimple!

How to dress accordingly to your skin tone

Everybody has her/his favorite color, which can or can not be the favorite color to wear. When you buy a new item you should always think first about the way its color affects your skin. If it makes your skin glow or not, if suits your eyes and your hair color. The first step is to determine Your Skin Tone:
Decide which season most accurately describes your complexion
"Winter" complexions have blue or pink undertones. Skin can be pale white, yellowish-olive, or dark. Winter people are generally brunettes, with deeply colored eyes. Many Asians and African Americans fall into this category.

"Spring": Spring complexions have golden undertones and are usually creamy white or peach. Spring people generally have straw-colored or strawberry red hair, freckles, rosy cheeks, and blue or green eyes.

"Summer" complexions, like winter complexions, have blue or pink undertones. Skin is pale and pink. Summers are often natural blondes or brunettes with pale eyes.
"Autumn": Autumn complexions have golden undertones. Many redheads and brunettes with golden brown eyes fall into this category.
Now you choose the tones and colors to enhance your skin tone and your beauty
Winters should wear colors that are sharp, stark and clear. White, black, navy blue, red and pink all go well with winter complexions. For lighter colors, wear icy tones rather than pastels. Avoid subdued tones like beige, orange and gold.
Springs can wear warm colors like camel, peach, golden yellow and golden brown. Avoid dark, dull colors.
Summers should choose pastels and soft neutrals with rose and blue undertones. Lavender, plum, rose- Autumns should select colors with golden undertones, like camel, beige, orange, gold and dark brown. Avoid colors with blue tones, like navy.
Whatever skin tone you are try to avoid shocking colors as pink or green, very hard to wear, even if you are black or tanned. Plus, another important choice is hair color, which should follow your skin tone too if you decide to step away from your natural color. That way your complexion and eye color will stand out more.
