The 63rd edition of the Cannes Film Festival just ended,in the beautiful and romantic frame of the French Riviera. This year the prize for best movie went to a Thai film, while the jury couldn't decide between the Spanish actor Javier Bardem and the Italian actor Elio Germano, so they gave the prize for "Best Actor" to both of them:
Palme d’Or "Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives" by Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Thailand Grand Prix "Of Gods and Men"by Xavier Beauvois, France Director Mathieu Amalric, On Tour, France Jury prize "A Screaming Man"by Mahamet-Saleh Haroun, France-Belgium-Chad Best Actor Javier Bardem for "Biutiful", Mexico-Spain and Elio Germano for "Our Life", Italy Best Actress Juliette Binoche "Certified Copy", France-Italy-Iran
