Affordable Art Fair in Singapore

The first AAF came to Asia and chose Singapore. The Affordable Art Fair started in Battersea Park, London in 1999. Will Ramsay had an idea: make modern art accessible to everyone and make everyone a proud owner of an art piece that it might, in the future, happen to be a good investment also. The Fair then spread to Bristol, and now is displayed in many cities around the world, Paris, New York, Amsterdam, even Milano where the Fair will be next, from February 3-6.
A lot of galleries from all around the globe for well known or less known artists, all pieces range from around 300 euros to ten thousand, most of them are around 2500 euros. But you can find photographs or prints at less. A lot of inspiration for the artists and quite a good mix of different tecniques, from acrylic to water colors to resin to wood. Few sculptures  and even blowed glass pieces.

Joseph, the French best Pop Art
Hsin-Wei Hsu, apparently the taiwanese artist is obsessed by "farts" and their deadly potential
A ersen Khalu, another taiwanese who shows his (real and true in his intention) tribute to Buddha with this "Buda is super"

Popstar Aguilera divorces over Lindsey Lohan's ex girlfriend

Popstar Christina Aguilera's marriage to Jordan Bratman ended because of her taste for lesbian flings, according to reports. The Dirrty hitmaker who filed for divorce from the music executive last week, is now being linked to Lindsay Lohan's ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

The 29-year-old had an "open" relationship with her husband of five
years, but he gradually tired of her lesbian romps, reported Sun online.
Jordan, 33, who has a two-year-old son with the singer, is said to have become too jealous and decided to dump Aguilera.
The popstar filed for divorce citing "irreconcilable differences" and has turned to Ronson for emotional support after the split, said the newspaper.

They were seen together at a party thrown by socialite Nicole Richie and a source said that they looked cosy together.
"Christina and Sam looked really close. It was after Christina had split with Jordan but before they announced it.
They have been tight for some time and now people are speculating they could be an item," said a source.
Aguilera has previously confessed to fancying women.
In an interview earlier this year, she said, "If I want to be sexual, it's for my own appreciation and enjoyment.
That's why I like to talk about the fact that sometimes I am attracted to women. I appreciate their femininity and beauty."
"My husband knows that I get into girls. I think it's fun to be open and play. My husband and I check in with each other but I definitely love women," she had said.

Fashion by Avana

The F1 week is a big event in Singapore. A lot of parties, concerts, dinners, people everywhere filling every spot in town. During this crazy week I have been going out a lot. But I had a special night at the private club the "Chinaclub", which features great views on the city and an elegant ambiance. Sipping on some great Italian wines by Podere Castorani (owned by Jarno Trulli the F1 driver) we had a delicious dinner planned by our friends of "autoctonous wines" Juliana and Clemente. Among the guests, the Italian Ambassador in Singapore and his lovely wife. The highlight of this fun evening was (at least for me!) when we showed some super stylish dresses by Avana Loft, a boutique in Singapore. Two sassy Singaporian young ladies and two Italians on the "catwalk"! On the day I went to try the dresses on I was scared and feared the worst as I usually don't fit well in the Asian cuts/shapes. Instead I had a sweet surprise...every dress was beautiful and every dress made me feel as a princess.

Here is the "man" from Miss Italia contest

After all the gossip about who could have been the transvestite entering the Miss Italia contest a journalist declared "I know who the man is" and pointed at Miss Lazio, Alessia Mancini, 1 meter 80 (5.11) . She is already out of the contest and says" I am really sad for all this gossip, it is only rubbish from another jealous contestant".  It truly seems to be only rubbish even if a famous photographer said that all the Misses in contest are "masculine", while the Italian TV seems to love curves and big breasts , the Miss Italy contest shows tall, skinny, tonic and athletic young girls.

There is a man willing to be crowned Miss Italy

The last news about Miss Italia contest are a bit peculiar this year. At first it was only a rumor but then it made it on the main newspapers...there might be a man among the contestants for Miss Italy ! Not a "man man" of course, but a "transvestite", a transgender. Somebody who can evidently trick a lot of people by looking as a woman.  Even an attractive woman. Now there is a legal problem: since only women can enter the contest this person shouldn't be there. But apparently, once you get operated, you can change the name on all your documents ( ID or Driver Licence) BUT on your Birth Certificate. And so if this issue goes further they will have to check this lady's birth certificate.
Another interesting news is that most of the contestants come from the south of Italy. Why ? Somebody says that they are more beautiful, but of course this is not the reality of the matter. Unfortunately others say that it might be  the lack  of perspectives in terms of jobs, less education etc. In the picture one of the contestant from the south, Miss Campania (not the ex man or at least we think not!)
